Ok, so at this stage I figure I'm not breaking the cardinal rule of calling it, because it's a matter of hours before those tight-looking isobars squeeze a decent breeze across Sydney and surrounds. I was supposed to have some minor surgery done on a torn tendon in my elbow, but that can wait (pain killers are awesome!!) and I'll be cancelling that appointment in favor of Kyeemagh. Wondering who else will be ditching the race(s) and joining me on the bay for a sail?

It was light this morning, maybe 7-9 knots, taught my sister for a bit (she's doing very well). It dropped right out for a bit but now im looking at my wind tree thrashing about a bit now :D
Better get the wet wetsuit back on...

Great sail off Coal Pt Lake Macquarie 15-23kts NE Melb cup day - only 4 out...got their priorities wrong? - Absolutely wrecked today after 2 days sailing in chop.. Grr I can see it's blowing out there now but I need to work sometime + no energy.. tempting though...

Well I didnt blow off my MEL cup function, despite the good surf on offer, and cleaned up to the tune of $2K, so I might have to shout myself a new toy

Glad to hear you got a couple of good sessions in after missing last Saturday.

Yep, looks like it's blowing again today, so I'll be heading down again shortly... just hope it's a bit more consistent then yesterday, which was a super gusty 18-25kts (according to the BOM).

I saw you did a good GPS 2sec of 26.4 or something... damn, I did a 26 PB yesterday so thought I had you beat, but you managed to sneak in by whisker with your new time Well done.

The gps said 27.3 and I hoped to sneak in over 27 so I was disappointed but I'm still happy with that in chop..Didn't know anyone was paying attention to my speeds..
