Have just purchased a RDM mast

When unpacking it have noticed that there is peeling off clear coating over the reinforced section below the ferrule

Think its only the clear coat, no further

Is this normal? This is my first mast purchase (just upgraded from really old SDM)

I intentially don't mention a brand, as have no issues with it, just need info and to see if you'd reccomend getting it replaced or what?

I'd take it back to the shop that sold it to you so they could have a look.
