Hi all,

Like many windsurfers, I jumped on the winfoiling bandwagon; it has been the best move after I bought my first clamp-on boom. Having said that, I really enjoy windsurfing. The thing is, I live in a place that I consider perfect for windfoiling because most of the time there we only get a breeze and/or gusty wind. Every now and then we get windstorms; plus, if I drive 5 hours, I can get as much wind as I want (unfortunately I can manage to do that drive twice a year at the most...).
I sold my 125 freeride so the only windsurfing board I have left is a 2005 105 JP freeride. I really like that board, but the problem is that it gets a handful when sailing in 20-25 knot winds.
I weigh 79 kilos. I have the opportunity to buy an 85 liter FSW for a reasonable (good, maybe) price. My only concern is whether that board would be too small for what I am looking for. I just want a board for mowing the lawn and hopefully start doing some jumps.
BTW, the two boards I am looking at are both 2011; one is the JP Australia FSW and the other one is the Quatro FSW.
I once tried the 2011 105 Quatro and I really liked it.
What do you guys think? should I go for it or wait for a FSW in the 90/95 litre range?

Go for it, I'm 95 kg and can get going on 85 - 90lt no probs in 20-25. Used to have JP fsw in that size and loved it. Caveat being make sure you have a suitable fin

Is the 2011 JP FSW a Pro or a FWS ?

For your purposes you might skip the FSW in favour of a freestyle board. They blast and jump very nicely.

Yeah, I heard that freestyle boards can be good for what I'm looking for, but these two other boards popped up so I am considering then; plus, I haven't seen many freestyle boards in the area for sale.
