Though all I did was rest it and it went away, but may have had it taped up as well. Was doing handstand pushups at the time (90 degree bend on wrist), put a lot of pressure on the wrist. Went to doing the handstand pushups using bars, lot less pressure on wrist because it was straight and not bent at a 90 degree angle
So figure out what you are doing that strains your wrist, and stop doing it if possible, compression bandage could help too, but first check with a sports physician or physical therapist.

I once spent some time attacking frog stands but I stopped because of wrist pain. I'll have to get back into it.
