Hardie & Nebs,
Great effort on the GTC site with the Ledge to Lancelin GPS track movie. I see Nebs and hardpole were racing each other on the final couple of legs and evets started walking south, stopped, turned around and started walking north to Lancelin.

BTW - are speeds shown 10 sec averages? It's a shame Chris L's track isn't included (did he wear a GPS?)

Hi Sausage,

Thanks for the kind words

The speeds are instantaneous I think.

As far as I understand it Evets was picked up by a car and taken to the finish line, while Marcel walked. I'm not sure if Evets being picked up is shown, you'll have to ask him.

The replay really shows the difference in sailing ability, from Jesper with incredible speed to people like me that hardly got planing all afternoon

When you're out there you have no idea who's who, I was trying so very hard just to stay upright.

It's a great event, I highly recommend you do it if you get the chance.
