While I did enjoy watching a few legends go around...surely a few young freestylers hitting the jump-ramp would be more impressive. Even Thomas Traversa didn't get a go.

Also why the retro gear?

He did get a go, so they must have decided to go with all the oldies, probably more interesting to the crowd...
