Can anyone help?
I have just bought an F2 board from a private seller and I would like to know what year it was manufactured.
It has the words " F2 Proto 09" (presumably the model and year of manufacture?) and "222 x 66" written on it with a permanent marker so it looks like it must have been for sale at some stage at a retail store
I assume the 222 is the length in CM and the 66 is the litres?

It is about 2006-2009 but I think mayyybe 2009 was when they stopped making them.... might be a proto for a model that never happened?

66cm should be the width.

66 liters is radically small

CHILLI is written backwards.

Looks like a f2 chilli 2008 that come as 99 litre (232cmx63cm) or 108 litre (234cmx68cm)... If your board has different dimensions than it probably is a prototype based on 2008 chilli. Here's a link in German that you can get google translate :

The Chilli 2008 was the last Chilli before its successor, the Rodeo took over. In all likeliness, it's one of the prototypes in between, preparing fpr the Rodeo 98 or 107, the latter being my guess as it had 67 cm of width.

Patrik Diethelm, Karin Jaggi and probably Daniel Aeberli as well usually spend their winters in WA for training and testing and often sell much of their gear before going back to Europe.
Probably designed and shaped by Daniel Aeberli of Choco Fins (as on the sticker on the nose of the board) who is now with Patrik boards as well. That's where it probably comes from and if so, the retail store would have been in Geraldton perth or around.
