Summer was in spring at Jimmy's for sure. Nor Easters galore until December then not so many.
Surely summer seabreezes can not be finished when they hardly got started yet.

Same for seq and northern nsw. Pumped northerly from early September then switched off between Xmas and new year.

I think it's down to the East Australian Current running about 3C warmer than it used to be. More evaporation, more rain, so even on the sunny days the energy goes into evaporating remaining puddles instead of generating a decent thermal breeze

Sailors reporting globally that it is a very wacky season. Wind where there is not usually and no wind where there usually is.
Every day there is no wind here, when there usually is this time of year, the whole sky is clouded out, like a storm is brewing but no storm comes The seabreezes we were used to always came in clear skies. new normal weather - it is what it is.

Or... fossil fuel companies are protecting profits by spreading climate misinformation. Much like Big Tobacco did. Actually some of the same Big Tobacco spin doctors are now working for climate change deniere. Follow the money.
