Hypothtically....if i were to take up kitesurfing and wanted to wear a helmet, would I have to wear a flat cap over the top of my helmet?

Flat hats, FFS their called flat hats, and no you don't wear them over you helmet. That is so uncool. They have to be colour co ordinated with your boardies....which I hope you wear over your wettie.
