G'day everyone.

So I am about to enter the Ledge To Lancelin and apparently I need to provide:

Evidence of federation membership (Windsurfing & Kitesurfing) and Evidence of valid third party insurance to the value of $1Mn.

Any suggestions?

So... after an hours googling:

Join a club like the Storm Riders (or others) in NSW for about $60 or $200 and this covers your membership affilitation and insurance.
I am still confused about the entitlement to sail as a guest at other clubs part which is only covered for the expensive membership.

Then you can also pick a sail number from the available list... Members of AWA affiliated bodies have the right to a number at no cost.

Berowne, hook up with your local Sydney windsurfing club Stormriders. The higher fee is for if you want to race formula. Talk to Adam C for details.

For LOC this year you need to be a member of any AWA affiliated club or any state association. Our preference is to get people engaged with WWA as we have a great calendar of racing and wave sailing coming up but if LOC is your only event, you can buy a one day membership via the WWA web site

WWA Membership Page - https://windsurfingwa.tidyclub.com/public/memberships/new

If you are travelling from interstate, join your local club or state and you will be covered.

Hi Mark, I believe so i.e. you need to be a member of a club or state.

Seeing as you're from NSW,
if you're into wavesailing aswell, you might also be interested in NSWWA membership:
