I just came across this post in the foiling section and thought I'd spread the word. The post is copied and pasted to below and is not written by me.

Hey, Foiling Family

I hope this does not violate the rules of the website but I thought some reading this might be able to help Jose. I apologize if this goes against the rules.

The short story is Jose, who I have foiled with and is a great guy, crashed while foiling and broke his neck. Dave Ezzy, and others, are trying to do what they can to help Jose. And I thought this forum might be a good way to get the word out.

So if you are interested here is the go fund me link.

here is another link for Jose's gofundme page,
www.gofundme.com/f/jose-is-paralyzed-from-windsurfing-accident?qid=c968d40443995baf3aea0c40b8cb747b

They have have raised over $87k, need $82k for medical flight, so he should be on his way soon to a specialized treatment facility in Chicago. Best of luck and care in recovering Jose.

Hey Hess, has Jose been flown to Chicago for treatment? Last update on Gofundme page was Aug. 31 and said he was ready to fly and needed to get to Chicago ASAP, that was 4 days ago. See the Gofundme goal has increased from $75k, to $90k, and now is at $105k, guessing his insurance is not covering all of his current bills?
