Harness with Windsup?

Hi Guys, Just wondering if people sailing windsups without straps are using a harness?

Yes footstraps have nothing to do with using a harness.

Yes, at times , it takes the pressure off your arms, that could be something you don't have yet, age thing.
my Windsup planes , so yes again , no straps.

All racing LT use harness.

Yep, I find that because my windSUP is usually being used in gliding conditions for decent lengths of time the harness is awesome for taking the load off my arms.

How do you get around the issue of the line being so high when 'gliding' and not planing? When I'm slogging on my non-winsup freeride boards I'm about 20cm short of being able to hook in and I use 30" lines. Albeit I'm not exactly gliding with much pull on the sail. Do you use extra+++ long lines?

When you're schlogging a shortboard and standing in the middle, your mast is probably more upright than when you're planing and back in the straps. Not such a factor in a longboard. Also you tend to use longer lines for more power and higher pointing.
