Anyone know if there is still windsurfing hire on Green Island?
I tried emailing info@greenislandbeachhire.com that was in previous threads but bounced back.

I wanted to find out if there was hire kit beginner/intermediate
Also if there is storage for my kit on the island if staying back in Cairns.

Are people regularly windsurfing there or if I went for a week would I be on my own windsurfing?

Hi Shaggy,
I don't live in FNQ anymore but do know no more windsurf hire on Green, the guy who was doing it now runs the parasailing on the island. There is no storage on the island for day visitors. There are a few/couple of guys who regularly sail there even during the week if the winds up. I can highly recommend the place.

Hi Shaggy best bet is to join us in July for the Slalom/Freestyle Nats.
The entry fee also includes 7 days ferry pass.

Hey Vando, its seeing the posts about the Nast that got me thinking about going but unfortunately i am rostered on to work that week

I've gone over with a board when staying with my family and the resort was fine with me keeping it near my room. The sailing is fabulous so well worth the effort!
