The first half of this clip is a helmet cam, the second half is shot on the boom , on the back of the grip. You can see a big difference. Helmet is quite unstable. Boom is dead stable, btu you can see the horizon jumping around. Overall, I think the boom is easier to watch and gives a better perspective than helmet.
I think the best mast shots come from the tip. No wind since I got back, so I have not tried that yet.
Yes, roll-bar mount will fit anywhere on an RDM. It has an good system for attaching to various diameter tubes.

I was also planning on making a small hole with a hot poker in the luff sleeve. Alternatively, people have had extensions of various types poking up to attach it to.
Awesome, so i am leaning towards the roll bar mount, where does it attatch too on the boom? (on the grip, or on the end piece, or both)
So you think that the roll bar mount will fit around the diameter of an RDM mast about 3/4 up?
