I have some gear for sale
in the Sails section under "Various" .
So far almost no interest and I do not have any idea on pricing.
So any suggestions on pricing for my gear?

I think you are going to struggle to sell those sails at all. I know, you won't want to hear it, but they look quite old.

The extension, base, and boom look like they are relatively modern, so you can probably sell those okay.

Agree, price will be adjusted.
The sails are still in vg condition and the 6m is as new.

My tip is patience and persistence. I have had stuff forsale and nobody has been interested in for a year. Then I've unlisted it for a few months and put it back on. Still nothing. I've Taken it off again, and next season, put it back on. Then.. bang. 6 phone calls/messages in a week and everybody is fighting over it. When it doesn't rain, it pours.

Regarding price, it's a market. Compare your gear's age and condition with other stuff listed. If you want to sell it quicker or your remote, then make it a lower price.

Yeah, they might be in good condition, but the age of them is going to let you down. A lot of windsurfers will want a particular brand or model of sail, and mixing and matching like that is not as common, especially when you look at the ages of them. You can sort of tell the age of them by the shape, and I would guess that they are sails from around 2000 or a little before.

Second hand windsurfing sails tend to lose a fair amount in value as they get older as people will assume that UV has gotten to them and they won't last. In your case it sounds like these sails are still in very good condition though.

Good luck. They might be well suited for beginners, so listing them separately may help.

I would also consider advertising older equipment somewhere a little more "mainstream". Most browsers of the Seabreeze classifieds are already keen/experienced windsurfers, it may be more likely that a beginner might go through their local gumtree/facebook/ebay market places.

^^^^Yep, that's what Ballast does with any old equipment. He groups stuff together to form a full setup of cheap/old gear for a beginner to buy so they usually get everything they need to go and have a sail. A full rig with one of those sails would work great on a windSUP for anyone wanting to have a crack.
