I know someone asked this before but I want to ask again here to see if there is any new business of gear rental in Cairns.
I heard our site member Toody who has gear to rent but I didn't receive any response from him.
Nor I received response from Windsurfing Cairns facebook.

Toody is pretty well tied up these days in other business interests guys. This time of the year is our off season. Unless one of those nasty spinny type wind things heads in our direction, then there certainly isnt a lot of sailingto be done. The other issue is that there are way to many nasty bities in the water - both reptilian and jellie orientated.
When are you looking at heading our way Windragon? Keep in touch - we can always rustle up some loan gear if that gets you out of trouble.

Hello Parentalrite, I will have 4day vacation from 20ish of May. I will visit some tourist spots in Carins. If situation allowed, I 'll have half or one day out to windsurf because I found the beach looks beautiful on youtube clips (Green Island?).

Hi Parentalrite or others that could help,
I am also heading up to Cairns with the family for a holiday. Last time I brought my gear up to Cairns but still hired some gear with Toody on Green Island to save lugging it out there. Sadly I just learned he no longer has the time for gear hire on Green Island. Unfortunately I can't bring my own gear as we booked cheap with Jetstar. My wife is fairly pleased by that as I won't be off windsurfing all the time, but I would love at least a day or two windsurfing on Green Island as it is awesome that time of year, preferably with others around. I am booked from 22 June to 2nd July staying at Trinity Beach. Could you please provide me with any advice on getting some gear for a day or two and maybe when locals are sailing there i.e Sat/Sun all weekends etc? Happy to pay going rate for any gear that gets me on the water.
