Can anyone recommend a cargo/freight service for windsurf gear heading overseas?

Best quote Ive been given thus far is AUD 1600 from Perth to Norway, with Pack&Send. A bit pricy for 1 waveboard, 2 masts, 3 sails and a boom...

Cheers

Sometimes more economical to sell here then purchase in new country.
Just a thought!

It sounds like excess baggage could be cheaper?

Or go business-class... and lots of baggage at no extra cost.

Thanks for the tips!

Excess has become ridiculously expensive unfortunately. Will try seaways and easyfreight!

From UK but used to work and sail in Norway.
Save your money and buy second hand locally- there's a good market, in both Stavanger and Oslo.
Norwegian as lucky as Australian have elevated incomes- and such for new toys and replacements.
I can connect you with some characters if need.
easy to shift gear at right price when you leave- or bring a board back to OZ.

try this
www.sbf.no/kjop-og-salg
many other smaller sales/ buy/sell sites etc.
