that's pretty tame. (not that i can do it)

first time i saw a forward off the lip was cessare cantegali doing it on a 3 storey monster at jaws.

sickest move i've ever seen on film. can't remember the name of the vid. i think greenleader might know. i've tried to track it down but not had any luck.

I'm pretty sure this footage was from the PWA held at Esperance back in about 99 or 2000.

The event ended up a non result as the wind didn't co-operate and I know there was some footage of JS doing on the wave forwards from the first round.

Yes it is the PWA comp at Esperance.

Pretty gutsy as where he pops that move it is about knee to waist deep... a stuff-up could mean a bit of pain

See, now to my eye, that's more of a spin loop than a forward loop. The axis of rotation was vertical, and he spun around flatish. Real loops have a horizontal axis, and the mast points at the water on the way over.

Not that I can do either, and it does look brilliant. I just have issue with calling spin loops forward loops.

I think most of my forwards are spin loops
The more height you get the more end over end you can go.
