Just found this:

mytrims.com/sys/draw/gallery/showmedia.asp?ID=2565

Anyone know anything about this? More like a surfboard than a jetski...

Hey neb, I saw this thing on a show awhile back. Invented in US I think and it looked fun. Kind of tippy but the guys riding them in the surf were getting jumps and cruising along wave faces. Looked pretty heavy and probably like a jet ski or wave runner. Boring after 10 minutes.

Nebbian right off the subject, remember the mods you did to the swivel top.

I have a RAF Supersonic that the swivel top has been removed.

Comment on performance to Diablo, "Naaaaarrrr no good, keep the mod you did and don’t cut the sail back.
My Diablo, since I copied your mod is still sweet.
You did a good job posting photo's when you modified.

Hey Mineral1,

Thanks for the kind words Glad to hear that it worked for you.

Right after I did that mod, I took the RX1 out and wouldn't you know it, apart from a mono panel splitting the head strap broke and was irrepairable.

Since then I bought a V8 with a sheartip (I'm a sucker for punishment), this sheartip is in reasonable condition but I'll take that washer off the RX1 and put it on the V8. Believe it or not I was thinking about doing this today, before reading your post

Hobie14t,
Thanks for the link! One wonders how you get thrust from a "non-directional jet-drive system" but the photos don't lie. I also wonder how they keep water out of the air intake but again that's a mere detail... Perhaps that's why all the photos are taken in glassy conditions?
