May of already been thought of but I was thinking of the foil and how it was good in light winds but a bit unstable when the wind got up. Has anyone tried having another foil on the front of the board? Bit like a hydrofoil boat. Should be more stable and if it worked would be quite fast.

Expensive and not clearly better than much cheaper alternatives.

Been tried in Berkeley Ca by Rich Miller. Stable, yes. Fast is dependant on foil size for speed intended. The '90's was a time for slalom development, and that foil ensemble, while possibly a faster than today's foil setups, turned like a horse with no fun factor.
