I've got two large diagonal dings either side of the nose caused by catapults. The skin isn't broken and they don't feel all that spongy but they are pretty noticeable. Is it worth getting these fixed? Do they compromise the structural integrity of the board? (its a wood core AtomIQ)

Cheers.

No, and no. But you may want to work on preventing catapults, believe it or not, you do get warned just before your feet leave the board, if you are paying close attention, they can be stopped.
It rarely happens to me anymore, but when it does, it's always because I was distracted by something else, daydreaming, singing, watching somebody else, picking my nose, whatever........... splat!

If you hit the same spots again, since its dented, it "could" be weakened .
Repair: probably not, wait till its smashed

do the soapy water test, if its bubbling out then it will suck water in and will need repairing, if no bubbles then leave alone.

On the off chance that you hit similar spots once more, since its gouged, it "could" be debilitated .

Repair: presumably not, hold up till its crushed

Wear your dents with pride. They never stop coming and we all have them.

Yiu can always try some heat on them with a hair dryer. I've removed small dents with a heat gun in the past.
