Today it was almost 25 Knots and I wanted to focus on the Harness.
I have a nice waist harness (Mystic) bought last year.
I went out with:

Starboard 200LT
NP 400 C75
NP 4MT Freeride (one cam)

I luckily used the harness for almost one hour, being able to go downwind and also upwind (I was really surprised ...)
I had a little feeling of planing for more than once but I believe that board was to big and I was "missing" that meter of sail. I am sure it would be awesome if I had my 145 (not arrived yet ... ) and a nice 5Mt.
Anyway I want to share with you the excitement.

PS: Personally, the big pain I have found with the harness is when I am on a (broad reach??) where the external shoulder is my right one, if the external shoulder is the left one, I am totally cool.
Why?

Maybe your harness lines are set up differently on each side so check they are correct. Most people have a good and bad side so maybe the uncomfortable side is your bad one which just means you have to practise harder on that one.

That is some serious size difference.

You'll probably find while not planing going upwind is easier than downwind, in the harness.

I find I'm more faster and more comfortable on a starboard tack (goofy stance), and I'm right-handed. Chop hops and such are more comfortable on port though.
