Snapped my fin in half after landing a chop jump sideways at gerroa a few weekends ago, hence I'm trying to decide what to buy next.

Unfortunately the board is a 112L Bic Techno so has a trim box :(

Options are....
1. Spend an amount eqivilent to what I bought the board for and replace the old 34m B&J fin

OR

2. Spend a mediocre amount and get something around 27cm or 37cm mark

Open to suggestions from more experienced sailors than I.

Also....what are the cons of using weed fins for other sailing....B&J etc?
