Just picked up a Fanatic Falcon 142 from 2013, old board but but in great shape, am I going to like it?

Maybe I should of asked what it's like to sail (-;

30years ago I had a Fanatic and loved it, hoping this will be a fun one to, the price and condition were really good so I took a gamble

The specs from the archives, looks like a great light wind board.

Your weight and where you sail might help.

6'7, 95kg hopefully using it with 9.4 and 8.6 overdrive on flat to nasty choppy water

Yep, your going to like it. It'll sail like a light wind slalom board, powerful feel, fast and exciting feeling in sub 18 knot or gusty winds. From memory, the 2013 Falcons we're fin sensitive, I recall Z fins where a favourite, and Select if your on a lower budget.

Sorry, it's not much help.
