Hi hi brains trust. I got my old fav 265 Sputnik out of the shed for some speed runs but realised the mast foot has perished. I wouldn't have the foggiest idea where to find a new one online or one locally in Adelaide? Any help would be super appreciated. Please and thank you. Not sure of the fitting attachment name etc

I am sure they have a standard mast track which any mast base will fit.

Perished? Is it a tendon or a boge? Tendons are easy to replace and spares are available.

Does it have a metal pin on the bottom of the u joint or a nut?

My ancient sput 265 had Al alloy mast track rails that where thinner than typical. Some normal universals would work and others wouldn't. Needed to choose a universal with the lower bolt fully threaded and on the short side. Otherwise either the nut wouldn't tighten onto the track, or the bolt would bottom out.
