Hi ive just joined this group after talking to a windsurfer here on central coast 2 days ago. seeing him has awakened my desire to start wind surfing again. Yeah im scared of the sharks in this country, but i'd love to windsurf again. I have kept all my F2 Wave sails, did have a Sunset Slalom decades ago. So... im now looking into purchasing a board. Does anyone know which mast would be suitable? I actually chucked it out 2 weeks ago, as i remember fibre glass 'ages'. Man i'd kept it all these years!

Often old sails that have been stored just blow apart when put into use again, the get brittle. Buy a modern rig, something less than 5 years old, any sails older than that is a gamble on durability.

or he could grab a 2nd hand constant curve mast and sail until they fail. could be tomorrow, could be in 12 months.

plenty of guys at my local on old gear having heaps of fun.

sourced from the local tip or recycle shop. eventually they upgrade. just Remember with older gear dont pay a lot and sail in safe waters just in case.
