If anybody knows where I can source a 5 inch 6mm SS bolt or screw, or even some 6mm threaded rod that long it would be hugely appreciated.

Just happened to turn my computer on over lunch.

I've found these guys to be really good. I've had to source long bolts for deep tuttle boxes etc.

Some of the SS bolts have the Allen Key hex head which is the same size as the batten tensioning tool, which is handy.

Looks like some wind coming our way Sat, Sun, Monday Ooops, probably mozzed it now.

If you ever get stuck, and need a long 6mm bolt in a hurry, you can get away with buying a 6mm coach-bolt from bunnings and cutting a slot in it. Not SS, and needs you to cut a slot and use a metal washer, but might get you out of a jam if you need something urgently.
