Hi SeaBreeze.com.au
Awesome website thank you. Is there a way to view and edit in DRAFT mode before posting a long forum topic?

You could write in a word processor and copy paste.
The formatting might fall over though, and some symbols wont be recognised.

Are you talking about when you compose something and things stuff up and you lose the writing? If you are doing a big post write it up in notepad or something else and then just paste it back into your browser when you have it complete. Its painful if something takes you ages to write and you lose it because the browser mucks up.
