Stumbled upon this great little clip on Youtube. Now, only having played on a sailboard for a few weeks I can say I'm super impressed watching this guy keeping his ballance on such a small board in goggly conditions and virtually no wind at all. This is like some form of dance, pretty bloody impressive really- well, too me anyway...

Am I easily impressed or is does this take some serious skill?

Mark- How are you mate. Going really well (for a learner), just starting to get a feel for the new (old) Tiga FreeX, sailing every second day to speed up the embarrasing stages. Sailed on the bay a few times, even caught a few small waves, planed several times, and crashed plenty. So all is good, totally hooked, so thanks for ya help

Shortboard- True, looks like a total workout. But mate, wish I had 1/5th his ballance.

This is actually quite fun to do on a low-wind day. I did it once with the same sailsize, boardsize and weight. It felt like i was starting over again, had a lot of fun and was totally beat afterwards, and i think it did a lot of good regarding balance... Though i was no where near the moves he's doing, so i'm impressed

I dunno why everybody can't do this stuff.. There is always enough wind to practice..

He did some switch stance clew 1st sailing, an upwind 360 and a push tack..

After this there is the pirouette, strimmer and the Gecko..

Once you master all that it gets boring as bat****. But you're a better sailor..

no wind freestyle canoe ... now that is REAL art!!!!
