very tight fitting piece of pool noodle, smeared in silicon grease and jammed just a couple of inches into the top. If you can get it in without the grease, all the better, but the dirt it'll attract up there won't be too much of a problem - the grease is just to facilitate the insertion of the noodle stuff. I compress the noodle to about 1/3 of its original cross sectional area, so once in it ain't comin' out accidentally.
