There is some footage on the end of the latest, I think it's the latest, Starboard promo video of Wojtek and his mates doing 'snow surfing'. Looks pretty cool for sure.

Actually, I remember seeing something like this on the flats near the Perisher Valley car park in the mid 1980's with conventional snow skis.

Yea it looks cool, but is there any point?

From the starboard video, they are on different tacks going down suggesting that they are only using the induced wind? And a sail also adds 15kg or so. I don't really think it would be much of a benifit, not saying it wouldn't be fun though.

Perisher car park...wow small world...I'm pretty sure that would have been my best mate's dad and my mate and I. From memory the whole set up was a disaster. In summer we had more sucess when they sealed the carpark and we tried it again with skateboards
