Got one today from Camera House on Eliz St, City.

Listed as $99 - knocked off $9 cause I'm tight. RRP is $180:

Anyone used one of these? I hear the audio is crap but the Video is as good as most of the camera phones out there.

Not expecting any miracles from this one - but cheap enough not to worry about.... and its probably youtube worthy....

See how it goes before I hook up Lumix FT2 on the flymount...... still a little nervous about sailing with a $500 buck cam on your mast :P

I brought this unit 16 months ago. This product is seriously **. It has no dynamic control, so pictures are either over or under exposed. Water forms a beads and meniscus around the lens, so it's useless for water sports. Further more, any type of minor shock would cause the unit to record a couple of frames of white noise. I ended up giving it to a mate after a few sessions.

Return the camera while you still can, they really are bad.

I attach a couple of trace wires under the latch on my GoPro to my Flymount, is there a way to attach to your Lumix. The Flymount's not going anywhere fast, lots of turns on the screw adjustment so it'd get seriously lose before it'd be a problem. But then if you loop it might, I don't/can't

A mate did lose his, but it some how found how to walk while on the beach

Haven't tried it just yet. Will have a play on the weekend.

Geezus - with all the bad feedback on this helmet cam I might just give it to my nephews......

1 or 2 goes, and if its crap - it goes....

I bought a cheapo, it was ** & a waste of 150. So bough this bad boy:

vio-pov.com/

It's $$, but worth it. There's some footage in the forward loop & moviemaking thread.
