One of the little recognized hazards of growing up with digital watches is realised when someone on the synchronized kiting team says "Everyone, Kite loop, Anticlockwise, Go".

Scuba divers have recovered a lot of ditched kite line and bar handles at the bottom of the sea. The young generation kiters are trying to see what's salvageable. Meanwhile, the windsurfers are flying by them having a field day watching.
