Has anyone been Fortaleza in brazil for kiting? Any advice on where to stay? Rent a car? How to get around?, etc?

Do NOT tour on your own. Hang with the local wind/kitesurfers at their spots as Fortaleza is a dangerous town. Cumbuco and Praia do Futuro are the spots to avoid issues but still be careful.

I believe there is a VELA windsurfing resort at Jericoacoara.

^ Get with the program novetti. Kiters live dangerously and love it. That's why they kite.
