Hi all! Hoping someone can help mee?!

I recently did a refurb on a JP freewave board. Lots of sanding, filling, reglassing etc.... lots of effort!

I resprayed the board using appliance paint and acrylic spray paints with a simple striped pattern and left it all for a week or so to dry.

Final set was today - I applied some re-dek to the board to give the deck some grip and its caused all the paint to run and smudge!!! nightmare!

Obviously, i'll need to sand it all off and re-paint but does anyone know why it happened and how I might be able to regrip the board once ive repainted it?

Thanks

You can use two part automotive clear with flattening agent and acrylic foam dust to regrip ,you can roll or spray it. There is a reaction going on causing your paint to peel. You may need to use a different paint that doesn't react with your regrip.

Don't use appliance paint or garden furniture paint to paint a board.
