A friend gave me another abused beauty: fanatic quad 75 (2012)
Should I look for a pro to give it a go or is it worth giving my best shot?
If I'd try it myself I'd just use PU foam, epoxy and fiber cloth sins I don't have any advanced tools, nor advanced skills.

The plus: it has been drying out for more than 2 years

Fyi: just want it to use it as a high wind bump and jump board, rather than radical wave riding

If the board is still light, that is a great B&J board. The pic in my avatar is a 2013 Quad 75TE... I believe 2012 was same shape. It planes reasonably quick has great top end for a quad & sails really well from 3.7-4.7 I am on 4.2 in the pic.

If I were you I would inject Foaming PE glue(gorilla glue) into the cracks & loose bits then clamp it into as close to original shape as you can. ...after it dries rough shape it, & recess a bit so you have room to add glass. I wouldn't cut the carbon/inegra layer off. You may need to bog up the low spots with some filled epoxy resin(micro balloons or...) then fair it back down before glassing up with maybe 3 layers of 4oz glass tapering out towards the tail & over lapping the cracks by a few inches. Fair the edge of the glass in & bog it with heavily filled epoxy & final fair it. Rattle can some white over the top to protect the resin from UV & sail it.
