i've never sailed Blowering, but Jindabayne is lots of fun at times and I assume it would be similar. All inland lakes also have lots of calms, of course.
No, but I've had great sailing on Glenbawn, Keepit, Copeton, Malpas, Jindabyne and Burrendong. You nearly always have the water for yourself, I love the remote feel of it. I own short boards but have nearly always used my LT inland. There were days when short board would've worked but the LT is fun in a breeze and still nice in lighter airs. Great for exploring: the LT on roof opens up all sorts of waterways. Short answer: can't see why not. Don't over complicate it just do it!
