My brand new Isonic 107 arrived today after being won in a raffle at this year's Burrum Windfest in March this year.
Simon from Board Crazy put the board up to be won, and l couldn't believe that my name was pulled out of the hat.
If you are looking for another reason to go to Burrum next year besides for the excellent sailing, this could be the icing on the cake with great prizes from all the event sponsors that support this event every year.
I can't thank Simon at Board Crazy enough for his generosity as this was biggest prize l have ever won in 30 years of sailing. Period.
Once again l would to thank all the volunteers for tirelessly putting their time and effort into making this an awesome event.
As for me I'm off to Green Island Nationals with my new Isonic and can't wait to blast it around the course.
On a serious note: l would appreciate if everyone would give me a wide berth at every gybe mark so my new Isonic doesn't get dinged
