Dear Surfers,
I hate GunSails batten tensioners. So I decided to transform it to NorthSails type. Here is the result. I only add 4.5 cm fiber part and two small screws.

Consider sanding the teeth on the North adjuster's.
I worked at a windsurfing shop that sold North sails for 9 year's, and have seen at least 15 of the adjuster's wear thru the webbing, and it's pretty costly to get the webbing removed and replaced. Like 25 bucks each to get done at a sail repair shop.

Dear LeeD,
You are right. I have got a professional sewing machine in my workshop. It is easy for me to replacing the type of the batten tensioners.Every year I produce two or three handmade windsurf sails. I always use North Sails batten tensioners type. Bye...Salute to USA...

Dear Pirrad,
My first homemade sail 4.8 weight is 3750 gr. I am planning to produce a new sail. (4.9 sq m). It will take two months to produce it.

Very novel solution..... I like

Not that you could make, it but I still think the best batten tensioner by far is NP. All by hand with no tools.

I love that you have the sail rigged in your living room

I'd be concerned about those screws rusting and parting company with the tensioner.

Seems like a good candidate for 3D printing tbh.
