I've been looking quite long time for a replacement starboard atom 100 foolishly I sold couple years ago and been hard to find one for sale. Anyone know of an more recent alternative of but similar shape.

RRD Firemove looks very similar to the Atomiq. You'd get one from Second Wind Perth.

I've got Jonsey's Atomic 100 and yes its awesome

I had a Atomic 100 for about 4years, was a great board in choppy conditions but eventually went soft under the Rad Pads from my Heels so I replaced it with a FOX 105. Although the Fox is narrower at 65 versus the 68.5 of the Atomic it makes up for that by being a bit longer at 239 cm vs 235 of Atomic and has at least an extra 5 ltrs . With the extra Vee and very thick double density Rad Pads it is the most comfortable board I have ever ridden and still quite fast in most conditions.

I have the Atomiq 110 which is quite a bit wider at 74cm. Absolutely brilliant with a 7.5NCX, feels like a perfect match. Rubbish with anything below 6.2, I guess that's the width. Thinking about swapping for future 117 for foiling comparability, but reluctant if others think the Atomiq first gen was a bit special...!

glad its being put to good use...such a wide range of use and sail carrying capacity and best food pads ever, I'd happily put those Pads on any board makes a huge difference

Fox 105 haven't ridden yet :)- open to offers! fast yes, been passed by a few!

The 100 RRD firemove is the board that started the thin wider shape...gets great reviews, bit more on the 'move' side than the 'fast' side
Tabou Rocket Wide 105 also very similar (but apparently gets thin pads) gets good raves.

The 100ltr Atom excelled with 7-6.5 no cam sails off the beach open water long distance blasting, typical seas breeze conditions here...probably my most used most time on water combo ever

Its hard to tell really off the internet , you need to put boards side by side to have a good look, some boards have similar numbers but are massively different in design , by a mile...and then of course the ultimate test is riding, in a variety of conditions.

The thing about the thin wide is that it floated really stable in lulls (which are the norm up here) which also allowed much bigger sails to be carried than the litres suggested ... when the wind kicked it flew , easy to control and gybe and competitive with free race boards but could handle also getting in out of the surf , think that thin/wide/freeride shape is a great shape, you can get a pretty much a one board solution really (except for waves) ...only thing i ever felt could be improved on the initial 100 model was tad more nose rocker and some V up front under neath .... and that's what the fox has

The fox has no end of great reviews, everyone that has them is stoked,
interested to see 'owner' feed back on the wider 100ltr RRD FireMove and ROCKET WIDE's

Have just got a RRD Firestorm 101- 65wide (2016) and have used it with a 7.8 and 7 Mach3 race sails. Easily topped 33kts other day; gybes great in chop (instantly improved my gybes), and floats well. Am 74kg. Worth considering.

i'm pretty sure It was starboard that started the thin and wide revolution. RRD must have copied them.

Wished they made a 85-90 L atom for lightweights .The 100 Atom looked like it had great specs for mid/light riders but the 104L (smallest 2017) gets real hairy in 20 knots open ocean for lightweights .Jonesy ,the 2017 has decent nose rocker like an Isonic actually and kept the supa pads from previous models.Pretty sure if you stare hard enough you can put a ding in them. (reflex models)
