Hey was looking for some beginers to go sailing with round these towns, Im working at eneabba so its not far for me to travel,

Need to get used to deep open water. normally windsurf in billygoat bay, nice 700m long sand bar, about a metre deep ;)

most of the time i just go by myself which really isnt the best idea..

Billygoat is OK but rocks everywhere etc.

Sail at greenhead where everybody wavesails from, and try it in a seabreeze so if you come back downwind it is not hazardous. BUT there is a reef about 50m out that you won't get a centerboard over on any tide - on low tide a short wave fin juuusst drags on it - so depends what you are riding?

its actually called anchorage bay if you have been ther? Thought it was billy goat, just down the road from it anyway, acually not many rocks (all covered with soft sand :D).
Do you know where the wave sailing is? i lived there for 5 years, and never really saw any sailors at all!

riding a F2 spice, think its a 25 cm fin, was just looking for some 1 to go with, makes it a little more enjoyable, most of my mates sail in Geraldton bit of a treck after work :S

P.s you wouldn't happen to see anything wrong with my rigging? i don't think there's anything wrong but have never been taught (and this is at anchorage bay btw )

Yep, definitely try out Greenhead. I'm sure Glenn and Lee will give you some pointers.
Glenn will be the one doing 30 foot back loops out at main break, he's hard to miss!

You could shorten your boom at bit so that the clew goes all the way to the boom end. This will give you the feeling of more control. Your sail looks pretty flat. Maybe a bit less outhaul if the wind is light.
Maybe a bit more downhaul until the top of the leech opens up a bit more, especially in stronger wind. You could also shorten your mast base so that your sail is closer to the deck of the board. Having the sail that far off the deck usually feels awful.

yea i cant seem to get it any lower :S, the mast i have is way to big for the sail, the sail has a extension cap thing on it and thats maxed out.

No, leave the head cap where it is, It looks like it needs another inch or so of downhaul.
If you have mast poking out the top you will need more downhaul as you are rigging on the stiffer part of the masy, (and it will be harder to pull it down).... and it looks like you don't have enough anyway.

What is the recommended mast, what is luff, what mast are u using, and how much is sticking out the top?

mast = 460 cm fibrespa .. imcs = 27.5 (what on earth does that mean haha)

written on the sail.. = max 439 (mast) icms 21-23 cc.....
