Pete at OES is making great progress and doing an awesome job as usual. This one will be my smallest board at 89 litres and is a crossover Bump and Jump/ wave board. Effectively a smaller version of the 97 which is the most awesome Port Philip Bay board I have ever ridden this is a touch shorter and has more nose rocker so should be a pretty good fast Wave board as well.
The design was done the way I normally work creating a super accurate nurbs surface, saving an STL then tracing in Shape 3D so pete can have it cut.
Really looking forward to having this baby for those big winter westerly fronts!

^^ Ahh the rotation is bcoz file is too large. Trim the pic down in size n it'll appear correctly.

Why the carbon stiffener only on one side ? Stiffer bottom turn , flexier top turn ?
Do people still ride proper isometrical boards . They make sense to me .

Looks bloody brilliant. 230 x 66.5 @ 122 liters makes me very envious. The shape looks really appealing. Watch out Kode 125 and Dyno 125!

I can't tell from the pictures, but judging by the hole behind the rear footstrap it must be a powerbox center fin?

In WA with jumping on one side, a lightly built board will eventually get a depression there. Especially with a concave that seems to concentrate the force - opposite of vee (but I really don't know if that's much of a factor)
For a big FSW and aiming for a weight about the same as factory boards I just wanted to play it safe as my 105kegs will be hard on it. (Its currently 7.1kg so will be same as a Dyno, lot lighter than a Kode in same size)

But we're not going to know if it works for about 2 or 3 yrs now are we hahaha

Be interesting to know if asymmetric carbon effects the board through turns differently on each tack.

Why are there no more outline asymmetric boards ? There are so many breaks that are one way , deep bottom turn to a top lip turn . Asymmetric makes sense .
