Seems the boards are going back to a silver/grey look which I don't mind.

NP sails taking a pink/yellow theme.

^^ last time they did that nobody wanted the pink... be interesting to see

Has NP wave and freestyle etc gone constant curve as they spoke about? Or was that just a misquote (I suspected the latter). Anyone know?

Wow, $3750.00, I feel for the retailers, good for the custom shapers, CA, Stone, OES !
prob not good for the sport of windsurfing or used boards in a couple of years, big ask for mass produced boards from Cobra, etc

NeilPryde mast bend curves have not changed. Still Progressive Flex which is definitely flex top in the short masts but progressively gets more constant curve as the masts get longer. The longest SDM masts (490 and 520) are basically constant curve. Robert Stroj describes this in the video
(starting at about 3:21).

Just to clarify the price in Australia for a 2018 JP Freestyle Wave PRO is $3,395, not $3,750. The Full Wood Sandwich models are $2,995.

There might be an alternative colour to the pink sails if you hit up your local retailer (available in Australia only!).

Have fun!

^^^ Yes aware of that video
There was talk a year or so ago , that NP said they were going to go to constant curve.

I wonder if it is simply what is said by Robert Stroj above was misconstrued.

That's what I am asking........ if anyone knows......

No price increases for 10yrs then 50% increase in the last 4yrs or so...? Hmmmm
Sails have not really gone up (well, incrementally and small)

Must be a new boss at Cobra wants to screw us...?
