I intend to buy a Airush ultra2 12m kite but don't know what bar to buy.

As its an ultra kite you would think, the ultra bar would be the best bar, but i never see them in use..

When watching videos of the Ultras being flown its usually with a core bar.

Also the Ultra bar has no depowering system , just the pure up and down of the bar.

Anybody used both and can shed some light on how they perform...Thanks

Has his hand on his bar more often than most it seems.
He may agree with you that hand up n down the bar is the purest form

Any hoo Sparky, if youre as much of a dude as other kiters, don't bother with the core bar. The one at your crotch should be fine.

the ultra bar is a bit of an overkill with an air rush, you'd be better off with a locosys gw60 bar, but only if you can kite loop at 10hz ! If not stick with the garmin bar.
