Are they the same, a lot of the stuff looks identical. Just wondering as I need a new mast extension collar for my Severne race HD and th aeron one looks the same.

Pretty sure sdm extension diameter is universal. I'd just be checking that the holes the pins fall/lock into to change length are the same diameter on both.

Old SDM Chinook collars don't fit on later SDM Chinook extensions. You really should test it.

Fair enough.

I've had Aeron extensions before though. Perfect fit in a Severne mast. I'd be willing to bet the collar will fit perfectly too (still check the extension holes though)
