Hi all,

I have a JP Australia Freeride Wave sailboard. I know it sounds a bit daft but I can't remember which year model the board is.

I've been through the models pictured on the site but I can't find anything identical. I've been going by the designs and patterns on the boards and had a look at all the likely generations but there always seems to be some sort of variation from that on the board I have.

Does anyone know an easier way to figure out what year the JP boards are?

Cheers

Ah, that board will be made in 2211.
That's why you can't find graphic yet.

Hello, Andrew,

I had nothing to do, so I looked at the names of all the boards manufactured beteween 1998 and now. Sadly, JP never used the expression "Freeride Wave", so I think that you have mis-identified the board.

As requested, you might care to post a picture of the board, along with the specs, which should be written on the top of the board, at the rear.

Hope this helps.

Okay People,

As promised. Here is the board pic.

Damn shame I have to sell it but I just can't ever see myself getting into a situation where I will have enough wind for it to actually get up on the plane frequently enough to make it worth my while.

The specs of the board

252 cm/8'3"
57 cm/22'4"

84L

Thanks again for your help.

Yep 03, My 2nd board, I had the 98, learnt to spock on it in Burley Griffen.. Had the matching T-shirt and hoodie.. I eventually cut the nose off cause I thought it was to long at 262.. Turns out I was right! Awesome board in its day..
