Thanks for the support though guys. I'm just not that stoked on my overall ranking as it doesn't really mean anything.
If I had the money and the backing it would be good to give it another crack. You really do learn quite a lot sailing and being around the worlds best sailors. Its certainly an eye opener to the level that some of the sailors have attained. It's just a shame that it cost so much from Australia to get to the events, otherwise I'm sure there would be more guys having a red hot go. This years tour definataley looks interesting with some new wave events added. Hopefully I can make it to a couple of them.

For starters ditch Slalom... it's boring anyway. You can do the wave series with a couple of boards and a handful of sails. That should bring down your excess costs.
With that current ranking of 69 you might be able to get some sponsorship from Virgin. 69 seems on brand to me.
I'm not being down I'm more motivated with my sailing then ever before, I'm being realistic. when you blow basically enough money for your first home loan deposit on costs. knowing full well your not going to make or win that money back in the sport thats stuggling to make ends meet itself kinda puts things into perspective. no regrets though I'd do it again just differently. It was bloody fun just wish it was easier to do from down under.
I've know Benny since he was a 16 year old tall skinny grinning kid (still is), watched him learning and pushing the limits in the Yorkey's poop hole all the way to the PW Bloody A. There'll be no regrets in your bucket list mate, a life lived
Remember you're still number one in the Rum Drinking Gay Bar Table Top dancing Lucky not to be 69 there
