Hi, I'm after some advice. I am looking to buy a 5.4 (ish) sail and I'm not sure if I should be looking for a free ride or a wave sail.
I sail in Wanaka NZ, mainly strong winds, bump and jump / choppy water. I'm 100 kgs on a 115 board. Ideally, I's like to be able to rig on my existing 430 ( I have both SDM and RDM 430's). Most of the time I'm happy on my 6m Gaastra Hybrid, but there are times a little smaller would be good. I am an average sailer, but slowly getting better!

Thoughts on sail type and any specific sail I should look at would be great. thanks

If you have Gaastra masts, a Gaastra Cross would be a perfect model for what you describe
