Hello, intermediate aspiring freestyler here. Currently using a 2012 JP Freestyle 99 and looking to upgrade to a 2014 Flare 101L. Couple of questions:
1. The 2014 & 2015 shapes are the same?
2. Any opinions on the particular board, is it worth the upgrade, and is the stock 18cm fin any good? (Starboard has ditched slot box on flares since 2016).
3. Planning to use a 5.2 ad 4.8m2 sail for windy days, the minimum recommended is 5.0.. will the handling be compromised with 4.8?
