awesome stuff my friend love the new grafix, I think the new boards and sails might scare the kiters abit, they look way to cool! the kiters said windsurfing was meant to be dead, surrrre....
Amazing! Year on year boards have got wider and shorter and supposedly sooo much better, and now the trend appears to be reversing.
Well I'm ahead of them. I've rescued one of my 10 year old boards from the loft, and tried it out. I can't imagine why I ever laid it up. It felt great with its slightly longer less tubby outline, and doesn't that narrower tail gybe.
All I need do now is paint it in next years graphics and I'll have saved myself a wodge of money! Who was it said, what goes around comes around?
Apparently, tells me the official NP Marketing manager, NPs 2011 sails will be launched on 15th of August.
Are sails released around the Northern Hemispheres best sailing season - Autumn/Winter in Europe? August seems very early when I'm still considering changing my 2009 sails which are already almost 2 years old!
ejmack said... Jp seem to have fixed their horrid graphic problem
Yeah gotta agree with you, the last couple years they look crap, I prefer the boards graphics from 2008 and lower, much cleaner and better looking IMO.
Dunno if I'm into those new materials - the stuff in the 010's definately didn't look as quality as 09 and earlier materials. Lots of air bubbles in the x-ply and a crinkly sound to it as well. I've seen a few 010 wave sails where the upper leech has fluttered and the material has cracked.
Justin , As requested here is the 2011 Kult theme sketch. Unfortunately it is a bit early yet to give away too much on a public forum so I had to censor it just a touch It should give you a pretty clear idea though
Its crazy busy out there. For your average punter launching at Hookipa must be like accidentally staggering onto the stage during a Cirque du Soleil performance.

Thanks for posting the vid, thoroughly enjoyed those 6 1/2 minutes
